Music at the NUN - Summer 2026 with the Green Music Festival
This summer, NUN Assisi Relais & Spa Museum becomes one of the key stages of the International Green Music Festival, now in its tenth edition. Four extraordinary evenings, from June to September, will transform our spaces into places of wonder and attentive listening, in the spirit of acoustic music and shared beauty.

21 June – "Graal": a sonic journey between myth and vision
The musical summer at NUN opens on the night of the solstice with the Candle Music concert by Vincenzo Zitello and Fulvio Renzi. Zitello, a pioneer of the Celtic harp in Italy and beyond, brings to Assisi a selection of original compositions from his fourteenth album GRAAL, inspired by the Arthurian saga and the spiritual landscapes of Brittany. The concert unfolds as an evocative narrative suspended between poetry, symbolism and instrumental virtuosity — Zitello is renowned, among other things, for his extraordinary ability to play two harps simultaneously. Joining him is violinist and composer Fulvio Renzi, who pushes the classical boundaries of his instrument in a nuanced and richly layered counterpoint. Starts at 9.30 pm.
19 July – Ennio Morricone between myth and magic
In July, NUN fills with the most beloved melodies of twentieth-century Italian music. Giorgio Costa on piano, Elena Cornacchia on flute and Bruno Gambarotta with his unmistakable narrative voice guide the audience on a journey through Morricone's most evocative works, enriched by precious anecdotes from the composer's life. A crescendo of emotion and serene nostalgia, in the intimate and dreamlike atmosphere that only Candle Music can create. Starts at 9.30 pm.
7 August – Harp Concert with Laura Papeschi
The heart of the summer brings to NUN Laura Papeschi, a distinguished Florentine harpist and winner of prestigious international competitions. Principal Harp with the Fondazione Arena di Verona, the National Symphony Orchestra of RAI Turin and the Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Papeschi moves with equal mastery across the grand orchestral repertoire, contemporary music and the Celtic harp tradition of Ireland. A solo concert, intimate and focused, capable of filling every corner of silence with extraordinary intensity. Starts at 9.30 pm.
20 September – Concert on the Water
The season closes with a truly unique experience. Patrizio Castrovinci and his hand pan transform the NUN's pool into a natural resonance chamber, in a performance that is at once music, meditation and ritual. Castrovinci is an instinctive musician who plays Music of the Moment: through the sounds of his instruments he conjures dreamlike atmospheres that carry the listener on a journey between dream and reality. It is hard to imagine a more fitting setting — the water reflecting the September sky, the ancient monastery walls all around, and music rising into the evening air. Starts at 9.00 pm.
Four evenings, four distinct musical languages, one shared thread: the belief that beauty deserves spaces worthy of it. At NUN, where every stone tells a story and every silence is already music, the Green Music Festival has found its natural home.
The concerts are open to the public. For information and reservations, please contact the NUN Assisi reception.
